Rid THAT Double Chin
Our skin muscles develop an affinity to get looser with increasing age. This increases the possibility of growing of a double chin in us, though it’s not always obvious. This text will illustrate the steps necessary for you to get rid of a double chin.
But before we mention the steps I need to state one fact. Fat may accumulate in adipose tissues any anywhere on the body including chin, if we pamper them to do so. Thus, your first step towards getting rid of a double chin is to ascertain that you have a high fiber, low fat diet, consisting of a number of fruits and green vegetables. A decrease in your amount of body fat will have a proportionate effect on your double chin, soon to be turned single.
The second step in achieving this is the regular use of a skin toner that prevents loosening and sagging. A skin toner is more effective with the help of a kind of facial yoga, which also tones your skin. Include this in your daily regime: use the first two fingers of each hand to massage gently along the jawbone, starting from behind the ear lobes, move and reach below the center of the chin. Stop. Repeat five times. Then perform a full neck massage: lift your chin slightly upwards and with cupped hands, stroke firmly down the neck five times each side. Then comes the last exercise under-chin slaps: with the back of the first two fingers gently slap under the chin twenty times. All these are really effective in getting rid of a double chin.
Third, we should discuss about one vital thing that is exercise. A daily exercise regime will complement the fat reduction along a low-calorie diet. Moreover, there are also some particular “spot” exercises that are aimed at reducing the chin area. The muscles that are responsible for double chin are called the platysma whose work is to stretch the corners of the mouth and pull down the jawbone. We are now instructing on the exercise known as “the shovel” and it involves extending your lower jaw as much as possible in front and then bringing your bottom teeth up in front of your top lip – your lower jaw should mimic an earthmover machine scooping up debris from the ground. Repeat this exercise 10 times daily and repeat this procedure 2-3 times within a day. The most convenient thing about this exercise is that it is flexible about its time and venue and can be performed even if you’re engrossed in other activities such as car driving or watching television.
The fourth and final way left is plastic surgery. During this surgery the surgeon will make a small horizontal cut under the chin and then suck out the fat that has accumulated below the skin. After that he will create a vertical incision in between the muscle layers of the neck and jaw and seal the edges together, tightening the muscle layer.
The surgery does not involve much pain and will need just two bandages to conceal the bruise, although, it’s very less. It hardly takes 10 days to heal up and the mark disappears. The process costs $2000 and more.
